Katie Hood Appointed to University of Mississippi School of Law’s Carolyn Ellis Staton Society of Young Alumni

Katie Hood, attorney in the Gulfport office and member of the Litigation Practice, was selected to serve on the University of Mississippi School of Law’s Carolyn Ellis Staton Society of Young Alumni for a 3-year term. 
 
The Carolyn Ellis Staton Society of Young Law Alumni was founded to recognize and engage recent graduates of the University of Mississippi School of Law and enable those graduates to bolster efforts to further the School of Law’s mission, enhance student life and experiences, and strengthen academic vigor. The Society is named in honor of Carolyn Ellis Staton, a dedicated scholar, a strong advocate for the School of Law and the University's first female provost.
 
Katie is a 2014 graduate of the Mississippi School of Law where she served as the Executive Articles Editor for the Mississippi Law Journal and was a member of the Phi Delta Phi legal honor society.
