National Hydropower Association's Annual Conference
Leslie Garrett Allen will serve as a panelist at the National Hydropower Association’s (NHA) Annual Conference on May 2, 2018 in Washington, D.C. Leslie will participate in a panel discussion regarding key legal issues and precedent-setting cases that currently are shaping the hydro industry. Leslie focuses on regulatory, licensing, compliance, and environmental issues for nuclear and hydroelectric utilities across the U.S., often representing applicants for licensing and relicensing of hydroelectric power projects under Part I of the Federal Power Act, as well as licensees with respect to compliance with FERC regulations.
The NHA’s Annual Conference is part of the NHA’s Waterpower Week, which includes three co-located conferences: NHA’s Annual Conference, International Marine Renewable Energy Conference (IMREC), and Marine Energy Technology Symposium (METS). The NHA is a nonprofit national association dedicated to promoting the growth of clean, affordable U.S. hydropower.
