About Steve
Steve Feaga is well known as an outstanding litigator in Alabama in both state and federal court by both the bench and the bar and in addition is a highly sought after public speaker on all aspects of the art of litigation.
  • What type of matters do you work on most often?

    As the Chief Compliance Officer, I develop and implement policies, procedures and training to ensure the firm is adhering to applicable laws, rules and regulations across all practice areas.

  • What do you find most exciting about your work?

    Few law firms in the country have a formal compliance program with a dedicated compliance officer position. By creating the Chief Compliance Officer position, Balch & Bingham is setting a new standard for the legal profession and I am proud to be a part of and contribute to this pioneering vision.

  • Served as co-lead counsel in the trial of a successful US SEC civil enforcement case against a national broker dealer.
  • Served as lead counsel in a successful multi-million dollar securities fraud related enforcement action brought against a foreign national.
  • Served as lead counsel in a successful multi-million dollar insurance fraud related enforcement action.
  • Served as lead counsel in the successful prosecution for public corruption of two governors.
  • Served as Director of Enforcement for a state securities regulator.

  • Served as Chief of Special Investigations and Litigation Division for the Office of the Attorney General of the State of Alabama.
