I enjoy crafting creative solutions to complex challenges in the ever-changing corporate and data privacy legal landscape. Corporate entities are changing and new variations such as Benefit Corporations, are being created in numerous states. Data privacy laws in Europe and the state of California have prompted several states to implement or increase their data privacy and security policies. I enjoy helping businesses comply with these regulations and strategically planning for future changes in the law.

Data privacy and security is a growing area, especially given the rapid changes in technology. Businesses have significant risks with more information being stored on the cloud. According to a 2021 study by IBM and Ponemon Institute, the average costs of a data breach is $4.24 million, so breaches are not only affecting companies' reputations but their bottom line. My practice focuses on advising businesses so that they comply with the increased regulations in this area.
