  • What types of clients do you represent?

    I represent vertically-integrated electric utilities and natural gas pipelines and LDCs in all aspects of their regulated business functions. While my primary focus is supporting utility operating companies, I also provide assistance to our other utility clients as needed.

  • Which courts or agencies do you most often appear before on behalf of clients?
    I frequently represent clients before state public service commissions and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) primarily in contested cases.

  • Large Scale Thermal Generation Projects: Represented utilities in obtaining certifications for over 4 GW of combustion turbine and combined cycle projects at a total investment of over $6 billion.
  • Renewable Generation Projects: Represented utilities in obtaining certifications for multiple utility-scale solar and battery energy storage system projects.
  • Nuclear Operations Prudence Inquiry: Represented a nuclear utility in a prudence inquiry spanning decades of operations.
  • Resource Acquisitions: Representation of utilities in securing approvals to acquire existing generation assets.
  • Rate cases: Representation of utilities in a multitude of major rate change, reconciliation and investigation proceedings at the state and federal levels.
