  • What type of clients do you represent?

    I represent a variety of small and large businesses ranging from local construction companies to national commercial franchises. My experience includes overseeing defense of construction defect allegations, premises liability actions, products liability suits, and wrongful death claims.

  • Which Courts or agencies do you most often appear before on behalf of your clients?

    While I primarily handle cases in Houston courts--both Harris County District courts and the Southern District of Texas--I have appeared before and managed a number of cases in counties across Texas, including Dallas, Bexar, McLennan, Live Oak, Brazoria, and Grimes, among others. I also recently sat second-chair in an American Arbitration Association ("AAA") proceeding.

  • Government Construction litigation: Obtained favorable settlement of masonry subcontractor following multi-million dollar construction defect claim related to construction of elementary school in Texas.
  • Products and Manufacturing: Represented steel assembly manufacturer in multiple homeowner claims related to coating, adhesion, and installation.
  • Wrongful Death: Favorable settlement for hydraulic lift manufacturer in large-scale wrongful death claim involving commercial trucking company.
  • Breach of Contract: Assisted in obtaining motion to dismiss in federal court for cargo company against claims of failure to pay for transportation and delivery costs.
  • Premises Liability: Second-chair attorney in AAA arbitration representing national fast-food franchise and defending against injury and damage claims brought by former employee.
  • Residential Construction litigation: Obtained favorable settlement for masonry subcontractor in construction defect action related to water intrusion and moisture barriers in residential home.
  • Products and Manufacturing: Oversaw defense and settlement of multi-million dollar catastrophic fire claim involving sublimation machine manufacturer.
  • Commercial Construction litigation: Obtained favorable settlement for glass and glazing subcontractor following allegations of moisture intrusion and mold at commercial property in Dallas County, Texas.
