My bachelor’s degree in Biological Chemistry from Birmingham-Southern College has provided me core knowledge that enables me to understand the highly technical issues impacting my clients' operations.  This keen understanding of the engineering and scientific issues impacting my clients allows me to provide more comprehensive advice because I have a greater appreciation for how regulatory and legal issues impact their processes.

The fact that each day can be--and usually is--entirely different than the previous one because my practice consists of a blend of litigation, regulatory compliance, and legislative affairs work.  Equally exciting is the fact that I get to assist clients in addressing cutting-edge issues that are of national significance.

The resources and costs entities must dedicate to comply with federal, state, and local regulation is at an all time high.  This trend will likely continue for the foreseeable future.  Entities subject to this ever-expanding control will need to rely  on competent lawyers to assist them in navigating the regulatory landscape and I look forward to the challenges and rewards presented by this development.
