  • What do you find most exciting about your work?
    Electric utilities are adapting to increasing electrification of society. My practice demands constant engagement with new rules, shifting policy priorities, and emerging regulatory trends.
  • What types of clients do you represent?
    I serve electric utilities operating within the ERCOT footprint or outside of it in Texas.

Select Matters

  • System Resiliency Plans: Represented several utility clients seeking approval of transmission and distribution system resiliency plans resulting in approval of hardening and modernization investments of hundreds of millions of dollars to better withstand and recover from extreme weather events.
  • Utility Rate Filings: Supports utilities with rider filings and rate cases before the Public Utility Commission of Texas.
  • Appeals: Secured positive outcomes for clients in AEP Texas Central Co. v. Arredondo, 612 S.W.3d 289 (Tex. 2020) and Southwestern Electric Power Co. v. Lynch, 595 S.W.3d 678 (Tex. 2019).
