About Kelsi
Q&A
  • What do you find most exciting about your work?

I enjoy crafting creative solutions to complex challenges in the ever-changing corporate and data privacy legal landscape. Corporate entities are changing and new variations such as Benefit Corporations, are being created in numerous states. Data privacy laws in Europe and the state of California have prompted several states to implement or increase their data privacy and security policies. I enjoy helping businesses comply with these regulations and strategically planning for future changes in the law.

  • What previous experiences, prior to your work at Balch, influence your practice?
Prior to joining Balch, I had the opportunity to work for a Big Four accounting firm and a Fortune 50 technology company, where I received a badge in Security and Privacy Foundation Design. Both of these experiences have driven me to focus my practice in data privacy and security law. I am given the ability to use my business acumen and knowledge of emerging technology to understand clients' legal challenges while achieving their business goals.
  • What do you see on the horizon in your area of practice?
