Angela L. Luckett

At present, I represent one of the nation’s largest electric utility companies through its various business units. Like all businesses, electric utility companies face a range of corporate issues.

I review, draft, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements for a broad range of projects. I provide general legal advice and support in managing day-to-day operational matters. I also handle disputes and other commercial and contract issues arising from operations.

I majored in advertising, and I enjoy creative problem solving. My advertising background helps me think outside the box, communicate more effectively, and relate to a variety of issues that arise with my clients.

As the electric utility business model is increasingly expanding beyond the meter, my understanding of advertising and marketing provides a unique perspective as utilities focus on program adoption strategies, sophisticated marketing, and sales capabilities to deliver new products and services to customers.  

I most enjoy helping my clients achieve their goals. I like being able find solutions that are creative and beneficial. Business is business, but many of my clients have become dear friends. We are in this together and that makes the work more meaningful.
