During my time as a public defender I honed my oral and written advocacy skills while protecting our clients’ constitutional rights. Being entrusted with our clients’ freedom impressed upon me the importance of creative problem solving and building strong relationships across all aspects of the criminal justice system. Both are vital skills that I carry with me in my current practice.

As a prosecutor for the United States Air Force I learned how to build a winning case. This experience fine-tuned the way I think about the law and how it should or should not be wielded against offenders.

I really enjoy the research aspect of my legal practice. To be the best advocate possible for our clients, I avidly read and analyze current case law. This practice allows me to identify the most effective means of accomplishing each of our client’s goals.
