What type of clients do you represent?

I represent corporate employers of all sizes and across various industries, including banking, healthcare, construction, telecommunications, poultry processing, energy and utilities, and state entities.
What type of matters do you work on?

I focus on complex labor, employment, and appellate litigation. I represent corporate clients in state and federal courts, participate in arbitrations, conduct workplace investigations, and advise clients on day-to-day employment law and regulatory compliance.
What previous experiences, prior to your work at Balch, influence your practice?

A lifetime of high-level performance and time management shapes my practice. I started working at 13 and learned early how to juggle demanding workloads, academics, and campus and community involvement. Welcoming my first child during law school while finishing at the top of my class forged the discipline that carried directly into my federal clerkship and subsequent law practice, where I built my career while raising three children. That foundation of grit, tenacity, and drive defines how I handle complex matters today.

Appellate Advocacy & Extraordinary Relief: Routinely leads briefing teams in federal and state appellate courts, with representative matters including securing a writ of mandamus from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit to protect attorney-client privilege; winning an appeal before the Mississippi Supreme Court to compel arbitration for a corporate banking client; and securing interlocutory appeals in multiple matters before the Mississippi Supreme Court.
Labor Victories: Represents employers in complex administrative, arbitration, and litigation matters, with representative wins including securing the complete dismissal of an unfair labor practice charge before the NLRB and successfully defended employer in a complex arbitration of a three-day unpaid disciplinary suspension of a nuclear security officer.
Employment Litigation: Defends clients across a wide range of employment matters, including Title VII, ADA, and ADEA litigation, with notable successes securing full dismissals at the pleading stage and victories on summary judgment.
