  • Nuclear power plant litigation: Represented the owners of the first nuclear power plant construction projects in the United States in over 30 years against the owners' contractor, which submitted claims of over $1 billion, and continued to represent the owners following litigation in connection with issues relating to nuclear construction.  (2013-2017)
  • Automotive industry breach of employment agreement:  Represented publicly-traded automotive electronics company in dispute with its former CEO. Dispute involved both litigation and arbitration. Took the primary role in drafting submissions to the court and the arbitrator; took depositions of witnesses; managed document discovery issues, including negotiating disputes with the opposing attorney.  (2016)
  • Affordable Care Act litigation: Represented several archdioceses, dioceses, and Catholic charitable organizations against the United States Department of Health and Human Services, among other government entities seeking injunction against the enforcement of a mandate requiring such entities to provide coverage for contraceptives and other drugs against their religious beliefs. Represented Georgia clients in a matter in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia that resulted in one of the only permanent injunctions against enforcement of the mandate.   • Workforce staffing dispute: Represented workforce staffing subcontractor against a general contractor relating to misappropriation of funds in AAA arbitration. After a two-day hearing, achieved judgment granting all requested relief, including a judgment holding the owner of the general contractor personally liable and an interim judgment forbidding further wasting of assets.   • Fair Credit Reporting Act litigation: Represented one of the "big three" credit reporting agencies in multiple actions against plaintiffs nationwide asserting Fair Credit Reporting Act violations.  (2009-2014)
  • Healthcare supply freight pay and audit: Represented Fortune 100 drug and healthcare supply company against its freight pay and audit contractor regarding a dispute over breach of contract and misappropriation of funds. Achieved almost total summary judgment for our client while defeating on all counts counter-summary judgment motion. (2012, nVision Global Technology Solutions, Inc. v. Cardinal Health 5, LLC, No. 1:11-cv-0389-WSD, 887 F. Supp. 2d 1240)
