2023 Magic City Bar Association Scholarship Banquet

Balch & Bingham had a wonderful time at the 2023 Magic City Bar Association, Inc. (MCBA) Scholarship Banquet on November 16, 2023 in Birmingham, Alabama. We were proud to serve as a platinum sponsor for this event, supporting MCBA’s mission to promote and facilitate the professional advancement of minority attorneys.

Each year, MCBA grants scholarships to minority law students attending the five Alabama law schools: Birmingham School of Law, Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, Jones School of Law, Miles Law School, and The University of Alabama School of Law. 

The MCBA was created in 1984 in response to a need to promote the professional advancement of African American attorneys, to foster improvement of economic conditions, to protect the civil and political rights of all citizens and to uphold the honor and integrity of the legal profession.
