Mary Samuels Featured in About Town magazine among the Local women Leading the way

Mary Samuels, partner in the firm’s Birmingham office and  member of the Environmental & Natural Resources Practice, was featured in the February 2019 issue of “About Town,” a Birmingham publication that covers local social activities. In a special section titled, “Who’s Next – The Future Generation of Local Women Leading the Way,”  the magazine highlights six women who serve the community with purpose, passion and professionalism.

The women briefly shared their motivations for their work as well as their hopes for the Birmingham community.

“Guiding clients through complex, ever-changing environmental regulations to ensure compliance and find the best solutions for their business needs,” Mary cited as her motivation. “I have enjoyed the revitalization of the downtown area over the last ten years and hope it continues,” she added as her hope for Birmingham.

Mary focuses her practice on environmental regulatory compliance and permitting matters. She has been recognized as a Top Attorney by Birmingham Magazine, and as Rising Star by Mid-South Super Lawyers. She is also an active member in the community, serving on several committees including the McWane Science Center New Element Group’s Steering Committee and Symphony 30, a fundraising organization for the Alabama Symphony Orchestra.
