Anne Kaufold-Wiggins Named to Judicial Nominating Commission of Georgia

Anne Kaufold-Wiggins, litigation partner in Balch's Atlanta office, was appointed by Georgia Governor Brian Kemp to the state’s Judicial Nominating Commission. The group is comprised of attorneys who recommend candidates to Governor Kemp to fill open judicial positions across Georgia. 
 
Anne has more than a dozen years of litigation experience, representing clients in trial, on dispositive motions, and on appeal. She regularly handles a wide variety of litigation, including high stakes personal injury and wrongful death cases, fire cause and origin claims, complex commercial litigation, class actions, environmental torts, and other energy-related litigation.
 
Anne is involved in the legal community, serving as President of Mercer University School of Law's Alumni Association, as well as holding memberships and leadership positions with the Women's Energy Network, State Bar of Georgia, Georgia Defense Lawyers Association and Georgia Electric Membership Corporation Counsel Association.
