April Wise Elected to Alabama State Bar Disciplinary Rules & Enforcement Committee for 2019-2020

April Wise, partner in the firm’s Montgomery office and member of the Estate Planning & Trusts Practice, was elected to the Alabama State Bar’s Disciplinary Rules & Enforcement Committee for 2019-2020. The committee is tasked with reviewing the lawyer discipline process and addressing improvements to current procedures that will benefit the future governance of the organization.

April’s practice areas include estate and tax planning, estate and trust administration and litigation, and special needs planning and settlement planning. She also handles other probate court matters, including guardianships, conservatorships, and adoptions. April regularly represents trustees, executors, and other fiduciaries, beneficiaries, professionals, and families with special needs individuals.
