Jeff Starling Speaking to the Alabama Regional Conference of the Asian American Hotel Owners Association on ADA Website Accessibility

Jeff Starling, partner in Balch’s Birmingham office and chair of the firm’s Labor & Employment Practice, will speak to the Alabama Regional Conference of the Asian American Hotel Owners Association on October 10, 2019. Jeff’s topic, “Hotel Website Accessibility under the Americans with Disabilities Act” will highlight accessibility of hearing an sight impaired customers to hotel websites, including their online booking experience. Jeff will also share requirements for website accessibility that satisfies ADA compliance, as well as resources available to evaluate and update a hotel’s current website.  

For over 25 years, Jeff has devoted his practice to the representation of businesses across the full range of labor and employment issues, from litigating and trying cases involving trade secrets, non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, to defending clients against whistleblowers, as well as claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and unpaid overtime. Jeff helps clients develop human resources policies, minimize legal risks and avoid disputes. He also aggressively represents clients in responding to union organizing and elections, bargaining with unions, defending NLRB charges, and arbitrating grievances.
