Balch & Bingham’s Mike Edwards Named Veteran of Influence by Birmingham Business Journal

Balch & Bingham is pleased to announce that Mike Edwards, of counsel in the firm's Birmingham office and member of the Litigation Practice, has been named a Veteran of Influence by the Birmingham Business Journal.

Mike is the fourth Balch attorney to be named a Veteran of Influence by the Birmingham Business Journal in recent years. He joins past-honorees Greg Cook, Will Hill Tankersley and Marcus Chatterton in being recognized for his service and leadership in the Birmingham business community.

After receiving a J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law, Mike served in the Judge Advocate General's Corps of the United States Army, where he gained valuable courtroom experience. Mike’s practice focuses on complex business litigation for financial institutions, health care providers and accounting firms, often serving as an arbitrator and mediator for his clients. Mike is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He has been recognized throughout his career by Chambers USA, Best Lawyers in America, Benchmark Litigation and Mid-South Super Lawyers.

Balch is proud to celebrate Mike and the many veterans who call the firm home. Balch has worked hard to create a culture that encourages, celebrates and recognizes military service, and in 2019 the firm was recognized as a Veteran-Friendly Employer by the Birmingham Business Journal.
