Ben Brewton Recognized for excellence in Georgia Super Lawyers® 2026 Edition

Ben Brewton, partner in the firm’s Augusta office and member of the Litigation Practice, has been selected as a Super Lawyer in the 2026 edition of Georgia Super Lawyers^®, published by Thomson Reuters.

Each year, honorees are selected through a rigorous process that includes peer nominations, peer evaluations, and independent research assessing professional achievement and peer recognition across 12 indicators. The Super Lawyers distinction is awarded to no more than 5% of attorneys in Georgia.

Through his practice at Balch, Ben Brewton represents clients in high stakes personal injury, wrongful death, and complex commercial litigation. A Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, Ben brings decades of courtroom experience to his defense of significant civil matters across industries, including energy, healthcare, and finance. He has tried more than 100 jury trials to verdict, handling cases involving medical liability, electrical utility injury and death, aviation negligence, premises liability, insurance coverage disputes, and felony criminal matters.
 
In addition to his trial work, Ben maintains an active appellate practice. He has argued cases before the Supreme Court of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, providing clients with continuity and strategic insight at every phase of litigation.
