Sexual Harassment in the Workplace

Balch & Bingham partners Kelly Pate, Martha Thompson and Dorman Walker will present an educational seminar on sexual harassment in the workplace for the Alabama Hospital Association on May 2, 2018. The event, sponsored by Balch & Bingham, will discuss a wide-range of topics related to sexual harassment in the workplace, including the legal definition and evolution of sexual harassment, sexual harassment investigation considerations, workplace risk factors and special considerations for hospitals. During the seminar, participants will also have the opportunity to work through an actual harassment case to illustrate the difficulties of responding to a sexual harassment claim and the limits of the law as a response to harassment.
