Balch Attorneys to Present at ACA International's 2026 Annual Convention & Expo

Join Balch & Bingham at ACA International's 2026 Annual Convention & Expo, taking place July 22–24, 2026 in Orlando, Florida. 

Partners Jason Tompkins and Jonathan Hoffmann, members of the firm’s Consumer Finance Compliance & Defense Practice, will present and will be joined in attendance by partner Thomas DeBray and attorney Drew Cicero.

ACA International's 2026 Annual Convention & Expo brings together industry professionals for educational programming, networking opportunities, and discussions on emerging issues affecting the accounts receivable management industry.

Jason will present "Where Are We At And Where Are We Going With Arbitration…" on July 23. The session will examine recent developments in arbitration, including significant court decisions affecting arbitration, the evolving landscape of mass arbitration, and the growing role of artificial intelligence in arbitration and online dispute resolution. Attendees will also explore emerging AI-enabled tools and their potential impact on dispute resolution.

Jonathan will present "AI Is Already Inside Your Organization, Now What?" on July 24. The session will explore practical approaches to AI governance, including oversight, accountability, internal controls, and risk management as organizations increasingly incorporate AI into compliance, legal, operational, and vendor workflows. Attendees will examine strategies for developing governance frameworks and organization-wide policies that support responsible AI adoption while maintaining operational control.
