    I represent real estate investors and developers, banks and other financial institutions.

  • What types of matters do you work on most often?

    I spend most of my time working on real estate transactions whether that be buying, selling, leasing or financing real estate. I also represent lenders in connection with loans secured by real estate.

  • Represented a seller in connection with the sale of approximately 70,000 acres of timberland in Alabama.
  • Represented a developer in connection with the purchase, financing, development and disposition of industrial properties throughout the southeast.
  • Represented a buyer in connection with the purchase of a retail shopping center in Augusta, Georgia containing approximately 800,000 square feet of retail space.
  • Acted as corporate counsel for a large regional bank in connection with a bank branch expansion program, including site selection, lease negotiation, design review, and construction contract negotiation.
  • Acted as corporate counsel for large regional bank in connection with the $19,000,000 sale of property in downtown Austin, Texas, including the repurchase of condominium units in the to-be-constructed mixed-use tower constructed by the buyer on the property.
  • Represented Dairy Queen franchisee in connection with the financing, construction and development of multiple restaurant sites in Alabama.
