I represent banks, mortgage companies, and other lenders in a variety of contexts, from attempting to remedy defects in deeds and mortgages to defending claims under statutes such as the Truth in Lending Act. I also routinely represent utilities and other condemning authorities seeking to acquire property on which to construct major pipeline projects.

The habits I acquired as a young newspaper reporter continue to shape my work. Reporting requires tight and disciplined storytelling, invaluable preparation for fashioning the most cogent and compelling ways to present clients' points of view to judges and juries.
