About Katie
  • What previous experiences, prior to your work at Balch, influence your practice?

Prior to joining Balch, I was a litigator which allows me to bring a unique and valuable perspective to my corporate and transactional process. I also worked for almost five years as in-house legal counsel for a corporation. That experience allowed me the opportunity to become an expert in many different areas of the business. This experience gave me unparalleled insights into what clients need and want from their legal counsel.

  • What do you find most exciting about your work?

I love collaborating with clients to bring creative and efficient solutions to fit their unique legal needs.  Having a diverse practice allows me the opportunity to tackle unique and exciting legal issues which also feeds my love of learning.
