About James
Q&A
  • What types of clients do you represent?
I have practiced energy law for 50 years.  Most of my practice is devoted to representation of pipelines both gas and liquids. I also headed up the Texas legal team for the first lng marine terminal that was permitted in Texas, first as an LNG import facility then converted to an export facility. I have worked with the Texas pipeline association on both regulatory and legislative issues for 40 years including the development of the Texas emergency response systems.
  • What types of matters do you work on most often?
Representing pipelines, especially in litigation, has permitted me to learn how pipeline systems work, which informs our work in all other areas such as commercial,  environmental,  regulatory and legislative.
