  • What types of clients do you represent?

    My clients include owners, operators, and purchasers of electric generating, transmission, and distribution facilities, including nuclear power plants.

  • What type of matters do you work on most often?

    The matters I work on most often focus on the operation of the electric system, including commercial transactions and regulatory compliance and practice. My practice also includes representation of nuclear utility clients with special emphasis on nuclear fuel, regulatory development and compliance, and new plant development. I provide counsel to owners and operators of nuclear power plants in a full range of matters related to the nuclear fuel cycle including commercial transactions and contract compliance.

Select Matters

  • FERC Counsel: Serves as FERC regulatory counsel with regard to transmission and distribution level matters. Advises and works with utilities concerning FERC regulation and tariff issues, and provides general representation to vertically integrated public utilities and independent power producers in the United States.  
  • Commercial Transactions: Involves the negotiation and implementation of international purchase and sale agreements related to nuclear fuel, and, within the United States, agreements including those related to transmission service, generator interconnection, and merger and acquisitions.
  • NERC Reliability Standards: Advises clients on a broad array of reliability requirements, including reliability standards, audits, compliance, implementation of requirements, and federal rules and obligations.
