Balch & Bingham Named One of 21 Birmingham Companies to Watch in 2021 by Birmingham Business Journal

Balch & Bingham is pleased to announce the firm has been named to the Birmingham Business Journals list of “21 Companies to Watch in 2021.” Balch was recognized along with 20 other Birmingham businesses poised for major growth and significant projects in the coming year.

Specifically, Balch was recognized for launching Balch Business Boost, a new program that promotes entrepreneurship, economic growth and the advancement of those who face disproportionate challenges within the Birmingham community.

“As we move forward following the unprecedented events of the past year in a world that seems to be changing faster than ever before, Balch maintains its steadfast commitment to Birmingham,” said Stan Blanton, managing partner, Balch & Bingham. “We were proud to launch the Balch Business Boost Program in 2020 and are excited to watch its growth as we enter the new year. Balch is honored to work alongside so many talented women- and minority-owned businesses and entrepreneurs in our community.”

Balch has a strong legacy of community service and pro bono offerings, but 2020 brought new challenges and new opportunities for the firm to make an impact across our footprint. The Balch Business Boost program leverages the experience and talents of the firm’s attorneys to support minority- and women-owned businesses with free or low-cost legal services. The program assists businesses as they navigate common legal and entrepreneurial challenges to building and sustaining success.

Balch is frequently recognized by leading industry groups and publications for professional excellence and its deep experience serving clients in regulated industries. It has received top rankings in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business, U.S. News - Best Lawyers® and Benchmark Litigation, and was named on Forbes’ inaugural list of “America’s Top Trusted Corporate Law Firms.” Balch’s other accolades from the Birmingham Business Journal include Veteran-Friendly Employer, Best Place to Work and Most Admired Company.
