Patrick Everman Elected to Serve on Land Title Association of Mississippi’s Board of Directors
Patrick Everman, attorney in the firm’s Jackson office and member of the Corporate & Commercial Practice, was elected to serve on Land Title Association of Mississippi’s Board of Directors as the Region 1 (Northwest) Director. Land Title Association of Mississippi is a professional association dedicated to creating an environment that enables its members to provide the public with the highest quality land title evidencing, title insurance, and settlement services.
Patrick will serve a two year term, ending in May 2025.
Through his new leadership role, Patrick will help execute Land Title Association of Mississippi’s mission to work diligently to educate its members through a variety of seminars and materials to assist them in maintaining their awareness of the constantly changing environment within the industry.
Patrick’s corporate-driven practice focuses primarily on corporate formation, structuring and reorganization, M&A, real estate, title, and transactions. Patrick mainly represents large and small privately held companies in a variety of corporate matters and transactions, including clients in industries such as hardwood mat production, trucking and logistics, private equity, healthcare, addiction recovery, hospitality, wastewater treatment and utility companies. Patrick has substantial experience in corporate and transactional matters and devotes a portion of his practice to outside counsel representation, as well as commercial real estate and title issues.
Patrick was also selected for the Mississippi Economic Council’s Leadership Mississippi Class of 2023. He has been named a Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch by The Best Lawyers in America ® in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
