Christina Marie Nuñez Named First-Year Director of Jackson Young Lawyers Association

Balch & Bingham is pleased to announce that Christina Marie Nuñez, attorney in the firm’s Jackson office and member of the Corporate & Commercial Practice, has been selected to serve as a first-year director on the Jackson Young Lawyers Association Executive Committee.

Founded in 1936, the Jackson Young Lawyers (JYL) Association strives to strengthen the bond among attorneys in the Jackson, Mississippi metropolitan area by emphasizing community, education, and service. JYL members come from widely different backgrounds and practice in virtually every field of law — from family law to corporate law, real estate to criminal defense. JYL Members gather with the goal to improve the quality of life for young lawyers and to serve Jackson and the Metro area.

Christina’s practice focuses mainly on business and healthcare transactions. Christina advises clients through a wide range of complex transactional matters from contract proposals to compliance inquiries. She uses her experience to provide clear, comprehensive solutions for each client’s unique needs. 

Christina in also a member of the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) and was chosen for the HNBA Latina Commission Leadership Academy. She was also named a 2023 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Pathfinder.
