Christina Marie Nuñez Named 2025 Outstanding Young Lawyer by The Mississippi Bar’s Young Lawyers Division

Christina Marie Nuñez, an attorney in the firm’s Jackson office and member of the Corporate & Commercial Practice, has been named the 2025 Outstanding Young Lawyer by the Young Lawyers Division of The Mississippi Bar.

The award, which will be presented during the YLD General Assembly on July 10, at the 120th Mississippi Bar Annual Meeting honors one lawyer each year who exemplifies the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and service to both the legal profession and the broader community. Recipients are selected based on their meaningful contributions to the Bar, their local communities, and the State of Mississippi.

Christina’s recognition reflects her ongoing commitment to leadership and service—both within and beyond the legal field. In addition to her thriving transactional practice, she currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Young Lawyers Division and is active in national legal organizations, including the American Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division, the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD), and the Commission on Hispanic Legal Rights and Responsibilities.

Her practice focuses mainly on business and healthcare transactions. Christina advises clients through a wide range of transactional matters and compliance inquiries helping them navigate complex healthcare regulatory requirements. She uses her experience to provide clear, comprehensive solutions for each client’s unique needs. Christina worked as a judicial extern for The Honorable David Neil McCarty, Mississippi Court of Appeals in Jackson.
