David Bowsher, partner in the firm’s Birmingham office and member of the Oil & Gas, M&A, and Creditors Rights & Bankruptcy practices, presented live at the Financial Poise Webinar “Chapter 11 - Focus on Oil & Gas” as part of a panel on Thursday, October 6, 2022. David, along with panelists Whitney Fogelberg (Kirkland & Ellis LLP), Scott Cockerham (AlixPartners LLP), and Travis Bayer (Dinsmore & Shohl LLP), had a lively discussion covering issues that arise in oil and gas chapter 11 cases, such as the treatment of oil and gas leases, the payment of royalties, hedging agreements, and valuation.
