The Future of Electricity in Texas: How are We Going to Keep the Lights On?

Balch & Bingham is proud to sponsor the Association of Corporate Counsel Houston (ACC) Energy Practice Group’s upcoming CLE, "The Future of Electricity in Texas: How are We Going to Keep the Lights On?," on September 14, 2023.

Todd Kimbrough, partner in the firm’s Austin office and member of the Energy Practice, will speak about the effects of the past Texas Legislative Session, the Public Utility Commission of Texas, local government, and other policymakers on future investment in the Texas grid, new power plants, and new technologies, including battery storage and electric vehicles. The Winter Storm URI litigation will also be highlighted.

The event will be eligible for one hour of continuing legal education (CLE) credit.

We are proud to sponsor this event, which provides a unique opportunity for in-house lawyers, regardless of their ACC membership status, to expand their legal expertise and network with industry professionals.
