Balch & Bingham Hosts FERC EQR Training for Energy Professionals

Balch & Bingham hosted an online training session designed to help energy professionals navigate the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s (FERC) Electric Quarterly Report (EQR) filing requirements.

The free, one-hour webinar held on April 14,2025 offered a practical overview of the EQR process and best practices for those responsible for compliance.

The training was led by K.C. Hairston, Balch partner and longtime advisor on FERC matters, along with Roxana Royster, a former FERC EQR staffer, and Renee McDonald from ACES Power Services. Together, they walked attendees through key filing requirements, how to handle adjustments and corrections, common audit issues, and what to expect from proposed changes to EQR rules.
