Chris Kimble Named To 2023 “Who’s Who In Healthcare” List By Birmingham Business Journal

Chris Kimble, partner in the firm’s Birmingham office and Chair of the firm’s Healthcare Litigation Practice, was recognized for the ninth consecutive year in the Birmingham Business Journal’s annual “Who’s Who in Healthcare” list published on November 24, 2023. This annual list identifies professionals who have a strong influence on Birmingham’s healthcare industry.

Chris maintains a regional practice throughout the Southeast that is devoted primarily to the litigation of healthcare-related issues. He regularly works with clients on matters including class actions, multi-district litigation, arbitrations, and administrative actions involving managed care liability, RICO, insurance disputes, arbitration, medical malpractice, ERISA disputes, provider reimbursement, insurance fraud and abuse, False Claims Act, willing provider laws, medical, drug and device liability, antitrust, peer review, staff privileges, contract disputes, professional licensure, and federal and state regulated insurance programs. In addition, Chris maintains an active counseling practice in these areas.

One aspect that sets Chris apart from his peers are his seven years of experience in the healthcare industry prior to practicing law. He is uniquely equipped with clinical and operational insights that inform his approach and legal strategy development. He regularly represents hospitals, physicians, ancillary providers, third party payors, medical device and pharmaceutical providers, and healthcare consultants.

Chris actively participates in the greater legal community in Alabama. He is past president of the Alabama State Bar Health Law (ASBHL) Section and served 12 years in the leadership of American Health Lawyers Association in various capacities.
