FERC Issues Order Accepting NERC’s March 4, 2008 Compliance Filing

On April 4, 2008, FERC issued an order in Docket Nos. RC07-4, RC07-6, and RC07-7 accepting the procedural aspects of NERC’s plan contained in a March 4, 2008 compliance filing. NERC’s filing was made in response to the Commission’s December 20, 2007 Order that reversed three NERC decisions in which NERC determined that three retail power marketers should be registered as LSEs in the NERC Compliance Registry and directing NERC to submit a plan describing how it would address a possible “reliability gap” that NERC asserted would result if the LSEs were not registered.
