Irving Jones Named to International Association of Defense Counsel

Irving Jones, partner in the firm’s Birmingham office and member of the Litigation Practice, has been named into the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC), a group including many of the world’s leading corporate and insurance lawyers and insurance executives. 

Founded in 1920, the IADC serves a distinguished, invitation-only and peer-reviewed membership of approximately 2,500 corporate and insurance defense attorneys and insurance executives worldwide. The organization says its core purpose is to enhance the development of skills, professionalism, and camaraderie to serve and benefit the members, their clients, as well as the civil justice system, the legal profession, and society in general.

In his practice, Irving focuses on internal investigations for regulated industries and litigating products liability, casualty, and medical malpractice matters. He represents corporate and utility clients across the southeast in both federal and state courts, including U.S. District Courts in the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Alabama and the Northern and Middle District of Georgia. Irving provides strategic counsel and advocacy for clients, helping them navigate high-stakes litigation and regulatory challenges with practical solutions and a deep understanding of Alabama and Georgia’s legal landscapes.
