Compton Jones Dresher Attorneys Join Balch & Bingham, Bolster Banking & Real Estate Capabilities

Balch & Bingham is pleased to announce that all six attorneys from Compton Jones Dresher joined the firm's Banking & Financial Services Practice, effective August 1, 2026. As part of this transition, Compton Jones Dresher’s attorneys will all continue their practices as part of Balch, including bringing professional staff to Balch’s Birmingham, Alabama office.

The group brings additional depth to the firm’s capabilities in bank regulatory matters, low-income housing tax credits, new market tax credits, commercial real estate, residential and multifamily mortgage financing and related corporate and regulatory work. Their addition supports Balch's continued investment in these areas and broadens the resources available to financial institutions, developers, and other clients navigating complex transactional, regulatory, and real estate matters.
